Maria the merchant’s medium-width feet – details:

• Not a high instep and not a low instep
• A “flipper” shape, meaning the toes are almost equally long, with no pronounced curve at the toe line 😊
• A slightly rounded toe box suits best; very pointed shapes often don’t have enough room for Maria’s big toe
• Usually wears size 43, with a medium-wide G last or a wide H last
• In barefoot shoes, typically size 42, because there’s enough room for the toes
• Length of the longer foot 26.2 cm
• Width at the ball of the foot 11 cm

Maria’s size choice is 43! A comfortably spacious last at the ball of the foot, and the laces allow for good adjustment of the fit. Size 42 also fit Maria’s foot lengthwise, but the big toe turned slightly with the tip, so 43 was chosen. For a narrower foot of the same length as Maria’s, size 42 is probably better. Size 43 was a little too long for Maria, but that didn’t matter because the shoes stayed well on her feet when tightened with the laces. Absolutely wonderfully light and soft shoes!

Here are Sanna’s trusted shoes for next summer! Size 40 is Sanna’s choice, just right in length and width. The shoes also did not slip at the heel! Sanna has a narrow heel, so not all shoes fit at all. But in these sneakers, the heel is soft and thickly cushioned, so they shape nicely to the heel. Soft shoes and comfortable on the feet!
