Block heel sandals - black

Stylish sandals with a block heel from Remonte! The sandals feature beautiful black leather, with leather straps crossing nicely over the toes. The soft leather straps that cross each other comfortably conform to the foot and suit various foot shapes. The ankle strap wraps around the back and has a Velcro fastener under the buckle on the outer side, with a small stretch panel on the inner side. Hanging under the buckle is also a small pretty silver-colored decoration. Thanks to the sturdy block heel, the sandals are comfortable to wear, and the heel is not much of a bother. Maria the merchant’s medium-width feet – details:

• Not a high instep and not a low instep
• A “flipper” shape, meaning the toes are almost equally long, with no pronounced curve at the toe line 😊
• A slightly rounded toe box suits best; very pointed shapes often don’t have enough room for Maria’s big toe
• Usually wears size 43, with a medium-wide G last or a wide H last
• In barefoot shoes, typically size 42, because there’s enough room for the toes
• Length of the longer foot 26.8 cm
• Width at the ball of the foot 11 cm

For Maria’s foot, size 42 would probably be just right in length but narrow in width. Size 43 was just a tiny bit too long, but that didn’t bother Maria. Size 43 fit Maria “comfortably snug,” not too narrow though. The crossing straps fit Maria’s flipper-shaped foot perfectly, and the feet did not extend beyond the sole on the outer side. So the last definition is F 1/2, between a slightly narrow F last and a medium-wide G last. Such beautiful shoes!

For Sanna, size 40 was just right in length but a bit too wide, and her foot slid too much toward the toe. Of course, with a transparent gel pad or a longer gel insole glued to the sole, the sandals could be made to fit. Lovely party sandals!
