The block heel feels comfortable, sturdy, and not too high. Comfort is also provided by the platform sole under the ball of the foot. Maria’s choice from these would be size 43. The shoes slipped onto Maria’s foot and the length felt good. Unfortunately, the toe width felt a bit narrow for Maria’s medium-wide foot. Of course, the leather would give a little with wear and stretch.
