Low-top sneakers with elastic laces - lavender purple leather

Beautiful Andrea Contin leather sneakers! These wonderfully simple and stylish sneakers are made entirely of leather, both outside and inside. The light purple leather is a nice summery shade. The walking shoes are lightweight, feel comfortable on the foot, and the leather is wonderfully soft. The laces are elastic, so the sneakers are easy to slip on. The laces also allow you to adjust the fit comfortably by tying them as needed. Great casual sneakers!

Maria the merchant’s tip: if the shoes feel loose, you can tighten the elastic laces and make a knot in the tighter laces. Even though Maria tightened the laces by tying them, the laces still stretch enough so that the shoes fit comfortably on the foot but also stay well in place. Of course, you can always replace them with regular non-elastic laces.

Maria the merchant’s medium-width feet – details:

• Not a high instep and not a low instep
• A “flipper” shape, meaning the toes are almost equally long, with no pronounced curve at the toe line 😊
• A slightly rounded toe box suits best; very pointed shapes often don’t have enough room for Maria’s big toe
• Usually wears size 43, with a medium-wide G last or a wide H last
• In barefoot shoes, typically size 42, because there’s enough room for the toes
• Length of the longer foot 26.8 cm
• Width at the ball of the foot 11 cm

For Maria’s feet, size 42 in this model was quite good. Thanks to the rounded toe, there was quite enough length for Maria’s toes in size 42, but perhaps size 43 still felt more comfortable in terms of length when walking for Maria. Of course, 43 is looser, but this problem was easily solved by tightening and tying the laces.
