The shaped pompadour heel is somewhere between a spike and a block, so nice looking! Additionally, the pumps are comfortable on the foot, with a nicely soft insole, and they are not the narrowest. However, the toe is sharp enough that 42 felt too tight. Width-wise, 43 felt good. New, it felt nicely snug on the foot (not constricting), so these will surely adapt to fit well with use.
