Sandals with thick sole - beige leather, multicolored sole

Absolutely lovely sandals from Remonte! The light leather straps are nicely combined with a light embroidered thick sole. Remonte Soft shoes are, as their name suggests, comfortably soft on the foot. Both straps have Velcro, allowing good adjustment for both the toes and the ankle. On the inner sides of the straps, there is also an elastic insert, and on the outer side, under the decorative buckle, there is a Velcro fastener. Wonderful summer style!

Maria the merchant’s medium-width feet – details:

• Not a high instep and not a low instep
• A “flipper” shape, meaning the toes are almost equally long, with no pronounced curve at the toe line 😊
• A slightly rounded toe box suits best; very pointed shapes often don’t have enough room for Maria’s big toe
• Usually wears size 43, with a medium-wide G last or a wide H last
• In barefoot shoes, typically size 42, because there’s enough room for the toes
• Length of the longer foot 26.8 cm
• Width at the ball of the foot 11 cm

Size 43 felt suitable for Maria’s foot in both length and width. The side of Maria’s foot did not extend beyond the edge on the outer side because the straps settled nicely a bit further on the outer side. And the Velcro also allows adjusting the fit. The sandals felt really good on the foot, with a wonderfully soft sole!
