Ankle boots - black soft leather, low black sole

Gorgeous Andrea Contin leather ankle boots! These wonderfully simple and elegant black ankle boots are made of very soft leather and are comfortable to wear. A light brown stripe running around the black sole adds a nice edge to the look. The boots have a wide last, a somewhat rounded toe, and the soft leather shapes nicely. There are zippers on the inner side for putting them on, and the laces allow for good adjustment of the fit. Really nice ankle boots for many occasions!

Tip: This is a good model because it suits many kinds of feet! The same model fits both Sanna the merchant with narrower feet and Maria the merchant with wider feet. And both find them very comfortable! Sanna can tighten the fit with the laces, and Maria can loosen them.

The merchant sisters have even given this model the title Hit Boots! It is such a popular model and has been sold a lot at Bellissima in many different colors. 😊

Maria the merchant’s medium-width feet – details:

• Not a high instep and not a low instep
• A “flipper” shape, meaning the toes are almost equally long, with no pronounced curve at the toe line 😊
• Usually wears size 43, with a medium-wide G last or a wide H last
• Length of the longer foot 26.5 cm
• Width at the ball of the foot 11 cm

Size 42 in this model was good in width for Maria’s foot. It felt slightly short in length, the toes were almost at the end. Size 42 felt snug enough on Maria’s foot, and the leather would surely have given a bit. Because of the length, however, Maria would choose size 43; by tightening the laces and using an insole, the next size would fit nicely. Lovely boots!

Sanna the merchant’s narrow/medium-width feet – details:

• Not a high instep and not a low instep
• The toes form a gentle diagonal line – the tips go in "length order" 😊
• Usually wears size 40, sometimes 39 or 41 depending on the model
• Slightly narrow F width or medium G width
• Length of the longer foot 25.2 cm
• Width at the ball of the foot 9.8 cm

Size 40 is just right for Sanna. This model has become Sanna’s favorite, and she has these boots in two colors. 😊
