Lovely Josef Seibel ballerinas! Comfortably soft on the foot, simply elegant shoes for many occasions. The elastic strap running over the instep is not only attractive but also keeps the shoes nicely secure on the foot. The soles have a slight thickness, not the thinnest type. The leather on the heel rises nicely high, which helps keep the open ballerina style on the foot. A fun detail, especially for drivers to note, is that in this model the rubber on the sole at the back of the heel rises just a little bit, so the leather doesn’t wear when the foot “rests” next to the car pedals. :) Beautiful shoes for many outfits and situations!

Maria the merchant’s medium-width feet – details:

• Not a high instep and not a low instep
• A “flipper” shape, meaning the toes are almost equally long, with no pronounced curve at the toe line 😊
• A slightly rounded toe box suits best; very pointed shapes often don’t have enough room for Maria’s big toe
• Usually wears size 43, with a medium-wide G last or a wide H last
• In barefoot shoes, typically size 42, because there’s enough room for the toes
• Length of the longer foot 26.8 cm
• Width at the ball of the foot 11 cm

Size 42 slipped on well for Maria’s foot but felt a bit too tight in width. In this model, the big toe line is nicely straight, and the big toes did not turn in the smaller size. Maria would choose size 43, which felt very comfortable, even though the length was perhaps a little too much. The wide elastic strap still keeps the shoes firmly on the foot, and the heel did not lift even in the larger size. Beautiful soft shoes!
