- Not a high instep and not a low instep
- A “flipper” shape, meaning the toes are almost equally long, with no pronounced curve at the toe line 😊
- A slightly rounded toe box suits best; very pointed shapes often don’t have enough room for Maria’s big toe

Maria’s choice from this model would be size 43 in terms of length. Thanks to the wide last, size 43 felt perhaps a bit too roomy. But with an additional insole, or even just a half insole, that would surely be fixed. Size 42.5 also had at least enough width for Maria. In size 42.5, the length was otherwise good for Maria, but because of the somewhat pointed toe, Maria’s flipper-shaped foot’s big toe turned slightly and touched the edge a little, so for that reason Maria’s choice would be 43. Absolutely wonderfully comfortable shoes and so good-looking!
