Sandals - beige-gold, leather straps, Velcro fastening

Great sandals from Remonte! The golden shimmer and nude strap together with a striking large buckle are the highlight of this sandal model. The comfortably soft (and removable) Remonte Soft sole provides wearing comfort. A cork stripe runs around the light sole, adding character. Both leather straps have Velcro for adjusting the fit. Maria the merchant’s medium-width feet – details:

• Not a high instep and not a low instep
• A “flipper” shape, meaning the toes are almost equally long, with no pronounced curve at the toe line 😊
• A slightly rounded toe box suits best; very pointed shapes often don’t have enough room for Maria’s big toe
• Usually wears size 43, with a medium-wide G last or a wide H last
• In barefoot shoes, typically size 42, because there’s enough room for the toes
• Length of the longer foot 26.8 cm
• Width at the ball of the foot 11 cm

Size 43 was suitable for Maria’s foot. The length was a bit too much, but it doesn’t matter because the adjustable Velcro straps keep the shoes well on the foot. With the “factory settings,” the outer edge of Maria’s foot extended slightly beyond the edge before the strap over the toes, but by adjusting the strap a little, it already looked good. So that’s not a problem either thanks to the great Velcro adjustments. :)
