Great loafers from Tamaris! This model challenges the traditional loafer with cool lavender-toned leather and a large golden buckle decoration. Quite a successful look! Maria the merchant’s medium-width feet – details:

• Not a high instep and not a low instep
• A “flipper” shape, meaning the toes are almost equally long, with no pronounced curve at the toe line 😊
• A slightly rounded toe box suits best; very pointed shapes often don’t have enough room for Maria’s big toe
• Usually wears size 43, with a medium-wide G last or a wide H last
• In barefoot shoes, typically size 42, because there’s enough room for the toes
• Length of the longer foot 26.8 cm

Maria’s choice would be size 42. Size 43 felt too loose when trying on with thin socks. Size 42 felt just a bit too tight on Maria’s foot with the shoe’s own insole, maybe “comfortably” snug. Maria removed the shoe’s own rather thick insole and tried without it, then size 42 felt just right. So Maria would swap to thinner insoles in size 42, and then the leather would stretch comfortably in these. 😊 Wonderfully soft and stylish shoes!
