Stylish Basil Strap TEX winter shoes from Bundgaard are made of wonderfully soft leather. These leather shoes made in Portugal withstand all kinds of play well, the tex membrane keeps toes dry, and the wool lining keeps warm.

Velcro straps not only make putting on and taking off the shoes easier but are also important for adjusting a good fit. With the Velcro straps, children can nicely practice putting on shoes themselves. If needed, the Velcro strap can be shortened at the stitch on the strap.

The shoes have a flexible, flat, and grippy sole, and the insole is also flat from heel to toes.

We recommend protecting the shoes with a protective spray before first use! This way they withstand moisture and dirt better. All moisture protection sprays suitable for tex-membrane shoes can be used on these shoes. Especially for children's shoes, we recommend Collonil's natural Protect & Care moisture protection spray, which besides protection also cares for the leather.

💖 PLEASE NOTE THAT TEX-MEMBRANE SHOES ARE NOT THE SAME AS RUBBER BOOTS! 💖 Tex-membrane shoes treated with moisture protection spray keep water out well up to a certain limit. But when the shoes get soaking wet, the "effectiveness" of the tex membrane between the upper and lining material may no longer be sufficient. When expecting a rainy day, puddle play, or generally prolonged time in wet conditions, it is best to wear definitely waterproof rubber boots.
