Ankle boots - black leather

Nice Andrea Conti leather ankle boots! The wonderfully simple and stylish ankle boots are made of really soft classic beautiful black leather and are comfortable on the foot. Otherwise, the lighter stripe around the dark brown sole adds a nice edge to the look. The ankle boots have a wide last, and the fit can be adjusted a lot by tightening or loosening the laces; additionally, the soft leather molds nicely. There are zippers on the inner side for putting them on. Really nice ankle boots for many occasions!

Maria the merchant’s medium-width feet – details:

• Not a high instep and not a low instep
• A “flipper” shape, meaning the toes are almost equally long, with no pronounced curve at the toe line 😊
• A slightly rounded toe box suits best; very pointed shapes often don’t have enough room for Maria’s big toe
• Usually wears size 43, with a medium-wide G last or a wide H last
• In barefoot shoes, typically size 42, because there’s enough room for the toes
• Length of the longer foot 26,8 cm
• Width at the ball of the foot 11 cm

Maria's foot size 42 in this model was good in width. The length felt slightly short, the toes were almost at the end. Size 42 felt suitably snug on Maria's foot, and the leather would surely have given a bit. Because of the length, Maria would however choose size 43, tightening the laces and with an insole the next size would fit nicely. Lovely ankle boots!
