Lovely Josef Seibel ballerinas! Comfortably soft on the feet, simply stylish shoes for many occasions. The elastic strap that runs over the instep is not only good-looking but also keeps the shoes nicely secure on the feet. The soles have a hint of thickness; they are not the thinnest. The leather at the heel comes up nicely high, which helps the open ballerina style stay on the foot. As a fun detail, especially for drivers, it's worth noting that in this model, the rubber at the back of the heel comes up just a little bit, so the leather doesn't wear out when the foot "rests" next to the car pedals. :) Great shoes for many outfits and situations!

Maria the merchant’s medium-width feet – details:

• Not a high instep and not a low instep
• A “flipper” shape, meaning the toes are almost equally long, with no pronounced curve at the toe line 😊
• A slightly rounded toe box suits best; very pointed shapes often don’t have enough room for Maria’s big toe
• Usually wears size 43, with a medium-wide G last or a wide H last
• In barefoot shoes, typically size 42, because there’s enough room for the toes

The size 42 slipped on Marian's foot well, but felt a bit too narrow in width. In this model, the big toe line is nicely straight, and the big toes did not turn in a smaller size. Maria would choose size 43; it felt really comfortable, even though it might have been a little too long. However, the wide elastic band keeps the shoes securely on the foot, and the heel did not rise even in the larger size. Beautiful soft shoes!
