- Inside the shoe (between the upper and lining material) there is a waterproof and breathable Froddo-TEX membrane. The membrane is practically a bag that wraps around the entire shaft of the shoe and the seams of the bag are taped. The height of the upper edge of the bag can be checked from the membrane pockets running alongside the insole.
- Shoes equipped with a waterproof membrane should only be treated with products recommended for tex membrane shoes. A new shoe does not require pre-treatment but can be protected with a dirt-repellent spray if desired.

💖 PLEASE NOTE THAT TEX-MEMBRANE SHOES ARE NOT THE SAME AS RUBBER BOOTS! 💖 Tex-membrane shoes treated with water-repellent spray keep water out well up to a certain limit. But once the shoes are soaked through, the "effect" of the tex membrane between the upper and lining material may no longer be sufficient. On rainy days, puddle play, or generally prolonged exposure to wet conditions, it is best to wear definitely waterproof rubber boots.
We recommend measuring the child's foot before ordering! Recommended walking and growth allowance for this winter shoe approx. 2 cm.
