Boat shoes - golden leather, barefoot shoes

Gorgeous golden Storm barefoot shoes! The shimmering golden leather goes nicely with the light sole and brown leather straps. The good old deck shoes, now in a barefoot shoe model. These sailing shoes have all the features of barefoot shoes: a foot-shaped toe box, no heel lift, flexible sole. The sole is not the thinnest, but still pleasantly soft and flexible. The leather straps allow adjusting the fit, and the shoes’ own insoles can be removed if desired. Made of wonderfully soft leather, comfortable on the feet! A wonderfully relaxed style!

Maria the merchant’s medium-width feet – details:

• Not a high instep and not a low instep
• A “flipper” shape, meaning the toes are almost equally long, with no pronounced curve at the toe line 😊
• A slightly rounded toe box suits best; very pointed shapes often don’t have enough room for Maria’s big toe
• Usually wears size 43, with a medium-wide G last or a wide H last
• In barefoot shoes, typically size 42, because there’s enough room for the toes

As with barefoot shoes and foot-shaped toe boxes in general, size 42 would be Maria’s choice. The length was just right, and the width also quite good. Size 43 felt too roomy. At first, the shoes felt a bit low for Maria, but this improved significantly by fully loosening the laces and tying them again. The leather also stretches with use. Additionally, removing the insoles adds more height space. Wonderfully relaxed and comfortable deck shoes!
