Pumps with block heels - Elcodieo 16, black leather, loafer-style

Absolutely gorgeous Elcodieo occasion shoes by Laura Vita! These beautiful shoes work well as party shoes, walking shoes, a decoration on a bookshelf, or even as a cheerful touch in the office! Cute little silver-colored ball studs circle the sole at the toe, and the stitching on the shoes is sewn with gradient thread in the familiar Laura Vita style. In this style, which also somewhat resembles loafers, the heel is pleasantly moderate, and together with the slightly thicker sole under the ball of the foot, they feel comfortable on the feet. There are small elastic inserts on both sides of the loafer vamp, over the instep. Gorgeous shoes!

Maria the merchant’s medium-width feet – details:

• Not a high instep and not a low instep
• A “flipper” shape, meaning the toes are almost equally long, with no pronounced curve at the toe line 😊
• A slightly rounded toe box suits best; very pointed shapes often don’t have enough room for Maria’s big toe
• Usually wears size 43, with a medium-wide G last or a wide H last
• In barefoot shoes, typically size 42, because there’s enough room for the toes
• Length of the longer foot: 26.5 cm
• Width at the ball of the foot: 10.8 cm

Maria would choose size 42. However, the toe is fairly pointed, and Maria’s flipper toes were quite cramped, but somehow this didn’t feel too bad. 😃 Apparently, the leather is soft enough, and there is otherwise enough room. Size 43 did feel more comfortable in terms of width, but it was too big for Maria and her heel lifted out of the shoe; even half insoles didn’t really help. But absolutely gorgeous shoes, and the heel is just the right height!
