Ankle boots – burgundy soft leather, low black sole

Gorgeous Andrea Conti leather ankle boots! These wonderfully simple yet stylish combat boots are made of very soft leather and are comfortable to wear. The dark burgundy leather has a truly beautiful shade; the official color name is "amarone". The light brown stripe around the black sole adds a nice edge to the look. The ankle boots have a wide fit and a fairly rounded toe, and the soft leather also molds comfortably. There are zippers on the inner sides for putting them on, and the laces allow you to adjust the fit well. Really lovely ankle boots for all kinds of occasions!

Tip: This is a great model because it suits many different types of feet! The same model is worn by both Sanna, who has narrower feet, and Maria, who has wider feet. And it feels really good for both of them! Sanna can tighten the fit with the laces, while Maria loosens them.

Maria the merchant’s medium-width feet – details:

• Not a high instep and not a low instep
• A “flipper” shape, meaning the toes are almost equally long, with no pronounced curve at the toe line 😊
• Usually wears size 43, with a medium-wide G last or a wide H last
• Length of the longer foot 26.5 cm
• Width at the ball of the foot 11 cm

Size 42 in this model was a good width for Maria's foot. It felt slightly short in length, though, with her toes almost reaching the end. Size 42 felt suitably snug on Maria's foot, and the leather would certainly have stretched a little. Because of the length, Maria would choose size 43, which could be made to fit comfortably by tightening the laces and using an insole. Lovely combat boots!
