Ankle boots - bronze-toned soft leather, low sole

These Andrea Conti leather ankle boots are a little edgy! The metallic-finish leather has a gorgeous bronze tone! These wonderfully simple and stylish combat boots are made of very soft leather and feel comfortable on the feet. A lighter brown stripe around the brown sole adds a nice edge to the look. The ankle boots have a wide fit, a slightly rounded toe, and the soft leather also molds comfortably to the foot. There’s a zipper on the inside for putting them on, and the laces let you adjust the fit easily. Really lovely ankle boots for all kinds of occasions!

Tip: This is a great model because it suits many types of feet! The same model works for both Sanna, who has narrower feet, and Maria, who has wider feet. And it feels really good on both! Sanna can tighten the fit with the laces, while Maria can loosen them.

Maria the merchant’s medium-width feet – details:

• Not a high instep and not a low instep
• A “flipper” shape, meaning the toes are almost equally long, with no pronounced curve at the toe line 😊
• Usually wears size 43, with a medium-wide G last or a wide H last
• Length of the longer foot 26.5 cm
• Width at the ball of the foot 11 cm

Maria's foot fits this model well in size 42 widthwise. It felt a little short in length, with the toes almost at the end. Size 42 felt snug but comfortable on Maria's foot, and the leather would certainly have stretched a little. However, because of the length, Maria would choose size 43. Tightening the laces and adding an insole would make the next size up fit comfortably. Lovely combat boots!
