Wool slippers - brown wool felt, Elma-Ernst

Handy and comfortable Shepherd of Sweden wool slippers! These beautiful brown wool-felt slippers have a leather insole with memory foam that molds to the shape of your foot. The slippers therefore mold to your feet very nicely! The rubber outsole is flexible and provides good grip, so you can even pop outside to the mailbox in them. The slippers also suit wider feet and barefoot shoe wearers well thanks to their foot-shaped toe box. (Note: The sole is not a barefoot shoe sole, however, but thicker.)

Maria the merchant’s medium-width feet – details:

• Not a high instep and not a low instep
• A “flipper” shape, meaning the toes are almost equally long, with no pronounced curve at the toe line 😊
• A slightly rounded toe box suits best; very pointed shapes often don’t have enough room for Maria’s big toe
• Usually wears size 42.5–43, medium G or wide H width
• In barefoot shoes, typically size 42, because there’s enough room for the toes
• Length of the longer foot: 26.5 cm
• Width at the ball of the foot: 10.8 cm

For Maria, size 42 was just right in every way! Thanks to the foot-shaped toe box, her big toe had just the right amount of room to remain straight, as it should. The insole was especially pleasantly soft, and the slippers also stayed securely on her feet. Wonderful slippers!

Sanna the merchant’s narrow/medium-width feet – details:

• Not a high instep and not a low instep
• The toes form a gentle diagonal line – the tips go in "length order" 😊
• Usually wears size 40, sometimes 39 or 41 depending on the model
• Slightly narrow F width or medium G width
• Length of the longer foot: 25.5 cm
• Width at the ball of the foot: 10 cm

Size 40 felt like the best fit for Sanna. However, the style felt a little too roomy for Sanna’s slender feet, while size 39 felt too short. Very comfortable slippers!

Jaana’s slightly narrow feet – details:

• Not a high instep and not a low instep
• Usually wears size 38.5 or 39
• Slightly narrow F width feels best
• Length of the longer foot: 24.3 cm
• Width at the ball of the foot: 9.8 cm

For Jaana, size 38 was just perfect! A comfortably soft sole and a lovely feel on the feet. Jaana is also planning to use this style for work!
