There are zippers on the inner sides for putting them on, and the laces allow for good adjustment of the fit. Comfortable textile lining and a removable leather insole. • Usually wears size 43, with a medium-wide G last or a wide H last

Size 43 from this model was good for Maria's foot. The width even felt somewhat generous, hence the definition wide H last. Size 42 would also have fit Maria's foot, feeling suitably snug. So the leather would surely have given a little. However, size 43 was already good and would fit a thicker sock if needed.
