Cool Andrea Conti leather ankle boots! These wonderfully simple yet stylish combat boots are made from very soft, classically beautiful black leather and are comfortable to wear. The brown stripe around the black sole adds a nice edge to the look, not to mention the decorative buckles and zippers. The ankle boots have a comfortably wide fit; you can adjust the fit quite a lot by tightening or loosening the laces, and the soft leather also molds nicely to the foot. There are zippers on the inside for easy on and off. Really lovely ankle boots for all kinds of occasions!

Maria the merchant’s medium-width feet – details:

• Not a high instep and not a low instep
• A “flipper” shape, meaning the toes are almost equally long, with no pronounced curve at the toe line 😊
• A slightly rounded toe box suits best; very pointed shapes often don’t have enough room for Maria’s big toe
• Usually wears size 43, with a medium-wide G last or a wide H last
• In barefoot shoes, typically size 42, because there’s enough room for the toes
• Length of the longer foot 26.5 cm
• Width at the ball of the foot 10.8 cm

Size 42 of this model was a good width for Maria's foot. The length felt pretty good too. The big toe on Maria's flipper-shaped foot touched the tip just a tiny bit at the outer corner, but not badly enough to stop Maria from choosing size 42. Size 43 felt too roomy, especially since the soft leather will still stretch with wear. So Maria's choice would be 42 (42.5 if Andrea Conti made one. 😄) Absolutely lovely, soft combat boots!
