Ankle boots - black leather, lug sole

Beautiful Andrea Contin leather ankle boots! These wonderfully simple and stylish combat boots are made of wonderfully soft, classically beautiful black leather and are comfortable to wear. A lighter stripe running around the otherwise dark brown sole adds a nice edge to the look. The ankle boots have a wide fit, and the fit can be adjusted considerably by tightening or loosening the laces; the soft leather also molds comfortably. There are zippers on the inside for easy putting on. Really lovely ankle boots for all kinds of occasions!

• A slightly rounded toe box suits best; very pointed shapes often don’t have enough room for Maria's big toe
• Usually wears size 43, with a medium-wide G last or a wide H last
• In barefoot shoes, typically size 42, because there’s enough room for the toes

For Maria’s foot, size 42 in this model was a good width. It felt slightly short in length, with her toes almost touching the end. Size 42 felt suitably snug on Maria’s foot, and the leather would certainly have given a little. However, because of the length, Maria would choose size 43; tightening the laces and adding an insole would make the next size fit comfortably. Lovely combat boots!
