• The manufacturer describes the Terracare leather used in Froddo barefoot shoes as follows: The leather has been treated to make it waterproof: the leather is impermeable to water and the shoe is also knitted with waterproof yarn. The shoe does not have a waterproof membrane, but the shoe is made entirely of waterproof materials. Thus, the shoe is very moisture resistant, but not a rubber boot. :)
• The leather can be treated with light leather care products. The new shoe does not require pretreatment, but can be protected with a dirt-repellent spray if desired. For example, we recommend this natural protection and treatment spray:
