Calf circumference at the top without stretching: 35 cm (approximately 3 cm more circumference when the elastic is stretched)

Jaana’s calf circumference is 36.5 cm. Size 38 slipped comfortably onto her leg. The boot fit well even though the elastic panels “were not needed.” So size 38 would accommodate a calf circumference several centimetres larger as well.

In size 40:

Maria’s calf circumference at its widest point is 42.5 cm, and the zipper on the shaft of this size 43 closed easily, without any particular stretching or acrobatics. 😊

Maria the merchant’s medium-width feet – details:

• Not a high instep and not a low instep
• A “flipper” shape, meaning the toes are almost equally long, with no pronounced curve at the toe line 😊
• A slightly rounded toe box suits best; very pointed shapes often don’t have enough room for Maria’s big toe
• Usually wears size 43, with a medium-wide G last or a wide H last
• In barefoot shoes, typically size 42, because there’s enough room for the toes

Size 43 felt just right on Maria’s feet in terms of width; size 42 was snug. Size 42 would be better for Maria in terms of length, while size 43 may be slightly too long. Size 40 felt suitable for Sanna in every way, both in length and width. The height of the model over the top of Sanna’s foot also felt good, and the shaft fit just nicely as well.

Jaana’s narrow feet – details:

• Usually wears size 38.5 or 39
• A slightly narrow F width feels best
• Length of the longer foot: 24.3 cm
• Width at the ball of the foot: 9.8 cm

The best size for Jaana is 39 with the insole. Size 38 was slightly borderline, while size 39 feels more comfortable but is a little roomy without the insole. The shaft also fit Jaana well!
