Wool slippers - black wool felt, Annsofie-Samuel

Wonderfully comfortable Shepherd of Sweden wool slippers! These stylish black wool felt slippers have a leather insole with memory foam that molds to the shape of the foot. The slippers therefore mold to the foot really nicely!  The rubber outsole is flexible and grippy, so you can even pop outside to the mailbox in them. The slippers also suit wider feet and barefoot shoe wearers well, thanks to their foot-shaped toe box. (Note: The sole of these shoes is not a barefoot shoe sole, however, but thicker.)

Maria the merchant’s medium-width feet – details:

• Not a high instep and not a low instep
• A “flipper” shape, meaning the toes are almost equally long, with no pronounced curve at the toe line 😊
• A slightly rounded toe box suits best; very pointed shapes often don’t have enough room for Maria’s big toe
• Usually wears size 42.5–43, medium G width or wide H width
• In barefoot shoes, typically size 42, because there’s enough room for the toes
• Length of the longer foot: 26.5 cm
• Width at the ball of the foot: 10.8 cm

Size 42 was just right for Maria’s foot, both in length and width. The toes have a comfortably spacious toe box. Absolutely wonderful soft, warm, and lightweight slippers!

Sanna the merchant’s narrow/medium-width feet – details:

• Not a high instep and not a low instep
• The toes form a gentle diagonal line – the tips go in "length order" 😊
• Usually wears size 40, sometimes 39 or 41 depending on the model
• Slightly narrow F width or medium G width
• Length of the longer foot: 25.5 cm
• Width at the ball of the foot: 10 cm

Size 40 felt suitable for Sanna in every way, both in length and width. There was of course a little extra room at the heel, but size 39 felt a bit too snug. Lovely, comfortable slippers!

Jaana’s slightly narrow feet – details:

• Not a high instep and not a low instep
• Usually wears size 38.5 or 39
• A slightly narrow F width feels best
• Length of the longer foot: 24.3 cm
• Width at the ball of the foot: 9.8 cm

Size 38 was just right for Jaana! There was a little too much room at the heel in size 39, and this size did not feel as secure or comfortable on the foot as size 38. Great slippers for many occasions!
