Pumps with ankle strap - nude leather

Beautiful festive shoes from Chantana! The leather in a nude shade has a hint of pink shimmer, as seen in the lovely details of the pink sparkle along the edges of the insoles. A thin strap goes over the instep, and its position can be moved and adjusted using the loop attached to the ankle strap. The ankle strap has a buckle fastening with five holes for adjustment. There is a small elastic under the buckle. The heel cup is shaped with a beautiful curve, and the stiletto heel is also slightly shaped. Simply wonderful shoes!

Chantana has earned the Design From Finland label; the shoes are designed in Finland but manufactured abroad. According to the label’s own description, Chantana shoes are comfortable and fashionable, with nice details tailored for the Finnish foot. The merchant sisters certainly agree with this!

Maria the merchant’s medium-width feet – details:

• Not a high instep and not a low instep
• A “flipper” shape, meaning the toes are almost equally long, with no pronounced curve at the toe line 😊
• A slightly rounded toe box suits best; very pointed shapes often don’t have enough room for Maria’s big toe
• Usually wears size 43, with a medium-wide G last or a wide H last
• In barefoot shoes, typically size 42, because there’s enough room for the toes
• Length of the longer foot 26.8 cm
• Width at the ball of the foot 11 cm

Size 42 fit Maria’s foot but was very tight. In terms of length, 42 would probably have been good, but not in terms of width. Size 43 felt good in width, but was slightly too long. A half insole or gel pad could help make the size fit better, since the toe is closed rather than open, so the half insole would remain hidden.
