Lace-up ankle boots with combat sole - burgundy leather

Stylish Andrea Contin ankle boots in a fine shade of burgundy! The neat and comfortable ankle boots are made of very soft leather. The boots have a wide last, a pleasantly rounded toe, and the leather shapes nicely over time. There are zippers on the inner sides for easy wearing, and the laces allow for good adjustment of the fit. Comfortable textile lining and a removable leather insole. Really lovely ankle boots for many occasions!

Maria the merchant’s medium-width feet – details:

• Not a high instep and not a low instep
• A “flipper” shape, meaning the toes are almost equally long, with no pronounced curve at the toe line 😊
• Usually wears size 43, with a medium-wide G last or a wide H last
• Length of the longer foot 26.8 cm
• Width at the ball of the foot 11 cm

Size 42 in this model was good in width for Maria's foot, but felt slightly short in length, with the toes almost at the end. Size 42 felt suitably snug on Maria's foot, and the leather would surely have given a bit. Due to the length, however, Maria would choose size 43; by tightening the laces and using an insole, the next size would fit comfortably. Lovely ankle boots!
