Andres Machado mostly makes only small sizes (33–35) and large sizes (42–45) for women's shoes. That is why our selection does not include sizes 36–41 for these models.

Maria the merchant’s medium-width feet – details:

• Not a high instep and not a low instep
• A “flipper” shape, meaning the toes are almost equally long, with no pronounced curve at the toe line 😊
• A slightly rounded toe box suits best; very pointed shapes often don’t have enough room for Maria’s big toe
• Usually wears size 43, with a medium-wide G last or a wide H last
• In barefoot shoes, typically size 42, because there’s enough room for the toes
• Length of the longer foot 26.8 cm
• Width at the ball of the foot 11 cm

Maria's foot took size 43, but it felt a bit tight. Andres Machado's shoes are lovely, but narrow in width and snug in sizing. Maria's choice would therefore be size 44. The toe has length thanks to the pointed shape, but width-wise it was okay. The patent leather also doesn't stretch and mold much, so a bigger size would be better for that reason too. With a half insole and adjusting the strap, a little extra room can be easily fixed. Such beautiful shoes!
