All-weather ankle boots with a wedge heel - black fabric, Remonte-TEX

Cool wedge ankle boots from Remonte! They’re what you might call all-weather ankle boots: the material is somewhat slippery textile, and Remonte-TEX tops it off with waterproofing. Thin black stripes wrap nicely around the thick white sole, adding a stylish touch. The ankle boots are from Remonte’s Lite’n Soft collection and, as the name suggests, they’re lightweight and wonderfully soft on the feet despite their thick soles. • Not a high instep and not a low instep
• A “flipper” shape, meaning the toes are almost equally long, with no pronounced curve at the toe line 😊
• A slightly rounded toe box suits best; very pointed shapes often don’t have enough room for Maria’s big toe
• Usually wears size 43, with a medium-wide G last or a wide H last
• In barefoot shoes, typically size 42, because there’s enough room for the toes

Maria already has several models with this wedge sole, including sneakers and ankle boots... 😊 Size 43 is the right size for Maria’s feet here too. Maria can also wear size 42, and the length and width feel good in that size. However, the toe is pointed enough in size 42 that Maria’s big toe feels as though it is turning inward; this problem doesn’t occur in size 43. So Maria’s choice is “slightly too much internal length,” with a half insole to preserve the feeling of width and keep the big toe straight. For a narrower foot, size 42 may well have the right internal length! They’re also wonderfully soft and lightweight on the feet. Great shoes for all kinds of occasions!
