Maria the merchant’s medium-width feet – details:
- Not a high instep and not a low instep
- A “flipper” shape, meaning the toes are almost equally long, with no pronounced curve at the toe line 😊
- A slightly rounded toe box suits best; very pointed shapes often don’t have enough room for Maria’s big toe
- Usually wears size 43, with a medium-wide G last or a wide H last
- In barefoot shoes, typically size 42, because there’s enough room for the toes
- Length of the longer foot 26.8 cm
- Width at the ball of the foot 11 cm
Maria’s choice from this model would be size 43 based on length. Thanks to the wide last, size 43 felt perhaps a bit too roomy. But with an additional insole, or even just a half insole, that would surely be fixed. Size 42.5 also had at least enough width for Maria. Size 42.5 was otherwise a good length for Maria, but because of the somewhat pointed toe, Maria’s flipper-shaped foot’s big toe turned slightly and touched the edge a little, so for that reason Maria’s choice would be 43. Absolutely wonderfully comfortable shoes and so good-looking!

- Normaalisti koko 43, keskileveä G- tai leveä H-lesti
- Paljasjalkakengissä yleensä koko 42, kun tilaa varpaille on tarpeeksi
- Pidemmän jalan pituus 26,5 cm
- Leveys päkiän kohdalta 11 cm
Marian jalkaan koko 42,5 on oikea. 42-koossa leveys vielä riittäisi, mutta isovarvas kääntyy terävähkön kärjen takia liikaa sisäänpäin. Koko 43 taas on liian iso ja kantapää nousee. Maria miettii, että jos puntaroit kahden koon välillä, isompi voisi olla parempi terävähkön kärjen viemän tilan takia. Ovat tosi mukavat ja pehmeäntuntuiset jalassa!
