This model is designed for wider feet, with a wider H last, and is part of Gabor’s Comfort range. The leather insole is also removable, revealing a proper leather footbed underneath. Maria the merchant’s medium-width feet – details:

• Not a high instep and not a low instep
• A “flipper” shape, meaning the toes are almost equally long, with no pronounced curve at the toe line 😊
• A slightly rounded toe box suits best; very pointed shapes often don’t have enough room for Maria’s big toe
• Usually wears size 43, with a medium-wide G last or a wide H last
• In barefoot shoes, typically size 42, because there’s enough room for the toes

Usually, size 43 with a G or H last from Gabor fits Maria well, and that was the case with this model too! Size 43 felt very comfortable on her feet. The rounded toe felt good around the toes, and the leather would soften and mold with wear. Size 42.5 also fit Maria, but was a little snug in width. Beautiful shoes!
