High-quality black health shoes with good Velcro adjustments are comfortable and light on the foot. The shoes have an extremely wide last, a slightly rounded toe box, and also plenty of room in height. By adjusting the Velcro straps, the fit can be well tailored; additionally, the soft leather molds comfortably. The model is easy to put on even for a foot with a high instep thanks to the long-opening Velcro straps. Really nice shoes for many occasions!
According to the Ilves brand: "Ilves health shoes are Finnish design and made from high-quality soft leather. The special structure of the shoes supports the foot’s arch while preventing painful bone spurs from forming. The shoes are especially suitable for feet suffering from bunions and hammer toes. The Velcro-adjustable upper makes it easier to put on for feet with a high instep or swelling."

Maria the merchant’s medium-width feet – details:
- Not a high instep and not a low instep
- A “flipper” shape, meaning the toes are almost equally long, with no pronounced curve at the toe line 😊
- A slightly rounded toe box suits best; very pointed shapes often don’t have enough room for Maria’s big toe
- Usually wears size 43, with a medium-wide G last or a wide H last
- In barefoot shoes, typically size 42, because there’s enough room for the toes
- Length of the longer foot 26.5 cm
- Width at the ball of the foot 11 cm
Size 42 felt slightly short on Maria’s foot. If you are considering between two sizes, it might be good to choose the larger size because of the length. In this very wide and spacious model, the width was too much for Maria’s foot. The feel on the foot was nicely soft, and these are also light shoes!

Kengissä on erittäin leveä ja tilava K-lesti, joka sopii hyvin leveään ja korkeaan jalkaan.

- Pyöreähkö kengänkärki sopii parhaiten, liian terävänmallisissa ei monesti ole Marian isovarpaalle tarpeeksi tilaa
- Normaalisti koko 43, keskileveä G- tai leveä H-lesti
- Paljasjalkakengissä yleensä koko 42, kun tilaa varpaille on tarpeeksi
- Pidemmän jalan pituus 26,5 cm
- Leveys päkiän kohdalta 11 cm
Marian jalkaan koko 42 tuntui aavistuksen lyhyeltä. Jos mietit kahden koon välillä, voi olla hyvä pituuden takia ottaa isompi koko. Tässä erittäin leveässä ja tilavassa mallissa leveyttä oli Marian jalalle liikaa. Tuntuma jalassa oli kivan pehmeä ja ovat myös kevyet kengät!
