Sandals with thick sole - light flexible straps

Lovely light sandals from Remonte! Several flexible straps keep the sandals comfortably secure on the foot. The straps crossing over the instep also look casually stylish! Remonte Lite 'n Soft shoes are, as their name suggests, lightweight despite the fairly thick sole and pleasantly soft on the foot. The other straps are nicely flexible, but the straps crossing over the toes and around the heel do not stretch. Wonderful summer style!

Maria the merchant’s medium-width feet – details:

• Not a high instep and not a low instep
• A “flipper” shape, meaning the toes are almost equally long, with no pronounced curve at the toe line 😊
• A slightly rounded toe box suits best; very pointed shapes often don’t have enough room for Maria’s big toe
• Usually wears size 43, with a medium-wide G last or a wide H last
• In barefoot shoes, typically size 42, because there’s enough room for the toes
• Length of the longer foot 26.8 cm
• Width at the ball of the foot 11 cm

Size 43 was too big for Maria’s foot; the strap around the heel did not stay in place. The length of 43 might have worked, and there wasn’t an excessive amount of extra space, and the width was comfortable. Size 42, on the other hand, fit Maria’s foot like a glove; the length was just right within the shoe’s boundaries. In size 42, the side of Maria’s foot slightly extended over the outer edge, but the toes slipped well inside the straps, and the straps were positioned successfully on the shoe so that it didn’t bother Maria aesthetically either. And they felt really good on the foot. Delightfully soft sole!
