Loafers with wedge sole - cream light leather, bow decoration

Stylish loafers from Gabor! A nice, slightly more relaxed loafer style with a thicker wedge sole. The cream-colored leather is neat, and the striking knot decoration on the instep is a wonderfully finished touch! The sole’s light stripes in different shades add a sleek accent to the style. There are small stretch inserts on both sides of the loafer strap to improve fit and make putting them on easier. They also feel comfortable on the foot—wonderful shoes!

Maria the merchant’s medium-width feet – details:

• Not a high instep and not a low instep
• A “flipper” shape, meaning the toes are almost equally long, with no pronounced curve at the toe line 😊
• A slightly rounded toe box suits best; very pointed shapes often don’t have enough room for Maria’s big toe
• Usually wears size 43, with a medium-wide G last or a wide H last
• In barefoot shoes, typically size 42, because there’s enough room for the toes
• Length of the longer foot 26.8 cm
• Width at the ball of the foot 11 cm

Usually, size 43 with a G or H last from Gabor fits Maria well. However, size 42.5 in this somewhat narrow model was better for Maria than 43. Size 43 felt too large. Surprisingly, despite the narrow F last, the width in size 42.5 felt just comfortably snug to Maria, not too narrow. Thanks to Gabor’s Best Fitting collection, they have tried to provide ample room at the ball of the foot, which is noticeable. :) And of course, the leather also adapts in width with wear.
