Slip-on sandals - black leather, rose decoration

Beautiful wedge sandals with a thicker sole from Gabor! The wonderfully striking black leather bow decoration is the highlight of these shoes. The black sole also adds a rock edge to the style. The leather insole is shaped. The sandals are easy to slip on and stay well on the foot thanks to the wide strap upper. Lovely sandals for many occasions!

This model has slightly different sizing, and Gabor lists sizes in EU sizes 36–46. Normally, Gabor lists sizes in UK sizes (3.5–11). In this model, the sizes are a bit longer than usual for Gabor. For example, for Maria the merchant’s usual size 42.5-43 foot, size 42 in this model was a good length.

• Not a high instep and not a low instep
• A “flipper” shape, meaning the toes are almost equally long, with no pronounced curve at the toe line 😊
• A slightly rounded toe box suits best; very pointed shapes often don’t have enough room for Maria’s big toe
• Usually wears size 43, with a medium-wide G last or a wide H last
• In barefoot shoes, typically size 42, because there’s enough room for the toes
• Length of the longer foot 26.8 cm
• Width at the ball of the foot 11 cm

Size 42 in this model was a suitable length for Maria’s foot. The width was a bit tight; the shaped edges of the sole suit a slightly narrower foot than Maria’s. Absolutely lovely shoes and a comfortable sole feel!
