Beautiful pumps with a block heel from Gabor! The fine black nubuck leather is a festive material. There is a decorative strap at the toe, adorned with small black slightly shiny rhinestones. Together with the slender and simply elegant design, these are such fine party shoes! They are Gabor’s narrow F last, but the toe box is slightly rounded and they belong to the Gabor Best Fitting collection, so there is a little more room for the toes than usual. Maria the merchant’s medium-width feet – details:

• Not a high instep and not a low instep
• A “flipper” shape, meaning the toes are almost equally long, with no pronounced curve at the toe line 😊
• A slightly rounded toe box suits best; very pointed shapes often don’t have enough room for Maria’s big toe
• Usually wears size 43, with a medium-wide G last or a wide H last
• In barefoot shoes, typically size 42, because there’s enough room for the toes

Although the pumps are Gabor’s narrow F last, they were not too narrow for Maria’s foot! The slightly rounded toe box and soft material have their own effect. For Maria, size 42.5 in this model was just a little snug in width. The length seemed good. Size 43 felt a bit too large considering that the leather also stretches a little with use. Of course, 43 with a half insole could be good. Maria’s choice would be size 42.5, which was just nicely snug and the leather stretches suitably. Lovely fine shoes!
