Espadrilles - Croatia, black leather

Beautiful espadrilles from Toni Pons! The stylish black leather is soft, as is the leather insole. Toni Pons’s materials are as natural as possible, and they make the shoes largely by hand. The wedge heel is covered with jute braid, and the strap wrapping behind the heel has an elastic insert on the inner side for ease of putting on. The insole is pleasantly soft, and there is a platform sole under the ball of the foot to ease the foot’s position, even though there is a wedge heel. Lovely shoes for summer outings!

Maria the merchant’s medium-width feet – details:

• Not a high instep and not a low instep
• A “flipper” shape, meaning the toes are almost equally long, with no pronounced curve at the toe line 😊
• A slightly rounded toe box suits best; very pointed shapes often don’t have enough room for Maria’s big toe
• Usually wears size 43, with a medium-wide G last or a wide H last
• In barefoot shoes, typically size 42, because there’s enough room for the toes
• Length of the longer foot 26.8 cm
• Width at the ball of the foot 11 cm

Size 43 was good in length for Maria’s foot. The width of size 43 also fit her foot, but unfortunately Maria found this model too narrow for a wider foot. Lovely and wonderfully feeling shoes for narrower feet!

Sanna the merchant’s narrow/medium-width feet – details:

• The toes form a gentle diagonal line – the tips go in "length order" 😊
• Usually size 39–40 depending on the model
• Slightly narrow F width or medium G width
• Length of the longer foot 25.2 cm
• Width at the ball of the foot 9.8 cm

Size 41 felt suitable in every way for Sanna, both in length and width. The height of the model over the instep also felt good on Sanna’s foot.
