- The manufacturer describes the Terracare leather used in Froddo barefoot shoes as follows: The leather is treated to be waterproof: the leather does not let water through and the shoe is also sewn with waterproof thread. The shoe does not have a waterproof membrane, but the shoe is entirely made of waterproof materials. Therefore, the shoe is very moisture resistant, but it is not a rubber boot. :)
- Leather can be treated with mild leather care products. A new shoe does not require pre-treatment, but can be protected with a dirt-repellent spray if desired. We recommend, for example, this natural protective and care spray:
