Behind the scenes in product photography

Welcome to take a peek at the glitz and glamour of Bellissima's product photography studio! You will certainly notice the meticulously considered work ergonomics and the studio designed with a hefty budget. 😁😄

The pile of boot boxes was at the perfect height, so we just put a large white mailing bag on top; even a light-coloured post was ready to serve as the background. 👌 Natural light comes in through the large skylight, and the ring light takes care of the rest. Or, well, Photoshop takes care of the rest of the image in the end.

Most of the product photos in our online store come directly from the manufacturers, but we photograph some of the products ourselves. At Bellissima, Maria is responsible for product photography and photo editing.

Maria approaches photo editing with great enthusiasm. Once, she even spent one of her own mini hotel holidays with her laptop, excitedly learning more and more about using Photoshop and practising photo editing. 🤓

We take the photos with a completely ordinary iPhone and make the remaining adjustments in Photoshop. This is where we start:
