Boots - black soft leather, combat sole

Lovely Andrea Conti leather boots! The wonderfully simple and stylish black high ankle boots are made of really soft leather and comfortable to wear. The shoes are completely black except for the light stitching around the sole. The ankle boots have a wide last, a slightly rounded toe box suits best; very pointed shapes often don’t have enough room for Maria’s big toe, and the soft leather also molds comfortably. There are zippers on the inner side for putting on and elastic panels on the inner side to help the shoes fit well on the foot. Neat shoes for many occasions!

Maria the merchant’s medium-width feet – details:

• Not a high instep and not a low instep
• A “flipper” shape, meaning the toes are almost equally long, with no pronounced curve at the toe line 😊
• A slightly rounded toe box suits best; very pointed shapes often don’t have enough room for Maria’s big toe
• Usually wears size 43, with a medium-wide G last or a wide H last
• In barefoot shoes, typically size 42, because there’s enough room for the toes

Size 42 from this model fit comfortably on Maria’s foot. Even in the rounded toe, there seemed to be enough room for Maria’s big toe to stay straight and not turn with the toe box. If Maria wanted to wear thicker socks, she would choose size 43. A larger size could certainly also be made good with a good insole. Lovely stylish shoes!
